Seven (7) From Nemrel

Seven (7) From Nemrel - 09.18.06

Every Monday I'll be adding links to seven websites I feel are worthy of sharing! These can be websites that are humurous in nature, websites that offer something for us to grow, or websites that just make you smile. Every link will have something in common: cool content, nice site design, and no popups.

I hope you enjoy this list and the websites I share. If you would like to suggest a website please send me an email. CONTACT ME

Devil Ducky
www.devilducky.com

Viral for fun! Devil Ducky is an online media site that has clips of comedians, flash cartoons and much more. I love this site and have sent dozens of friends to waste their time at this Holy Internet Temple. Plus the Devil Ducky is oh so cute to look at! No popups, killer content and a light amount of advertising makes this one highly addictive website for wasting your time!

Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster
www.venganza.org

Ever wonder if your religion got it ALL wrong? Or maybe you have this itching feeling that maybe God isn't some guy sitting up there counting everything we do wrong against us in order to have us burn in hell for all of eternity. Maybe - just maybe - God is nothing more than a Giant Flying Spaghetti Monster with it's gender neutral noodley appendage. Hail RAmen! Even if you don't follow or have a desire to worship the Flying Spaghetti Monster you still got to go to this site and laugh your butt off at the excessive amount of fundamentalists who constantly demand the site be taken down. Some even go as far as accusing that the site itself is maintained, hosted, and created by Satan himself. Religious fanatics can be so funny! Usually the debates end with the Fundy declaring victory by praying for the salvation of all those who do not follow the same God as they do. As far as I can tell no Muslims, Pagans or Zen Priests go to the site to argue and pressure the visitors and site owners to follow their "right" path to salvation.

I Want Freeware Utilities
www.econsultant.com/i-want-freeware-utilities/index.html

This site is a unique website provides users links to freeware programs based on what we really need and want! Maybe I want a free alternative to MS Word. Maybe I want a freeware firewall or antivirus program. Well this site has a freeware program for just about everything you would want to do with your computer. The list contains 450 links to the downloads of top programs equal to those you might purchase in stores for hundreds of dollars. For instance why not try Gimp in place of Photoshop and save $600 of your hard earned cash. Everyone of the programs are freeware - so doing cool things with your computer isn't going to cost you a penny! The site also does a great job of weeding out programs that contain adware and spyware. Keeping only the programs that are free to run, free to use and usually free to give away to your family and friends. You'll probably be able to put a down payment on a new car with the money you'll save.

Learn The Tarot
www.learntarot.com

Joan Bunning created her online website and course about the Tarot in 1995. Since then she has published her course in an offline version called Learning The Tarot. This unique site and book are two of the best tools you can use to learn how to read the Tarot for yourself and for others. This is the only book and tutorial website I recommend on the subject (of course besides the course I teach on the Tarot). Enjoy! PS: You'll need a deck of Tarot Cards - I recommend the Original Rider-Waite Tarot Deck or the Universal Rider-Waite Tarot Deck.

Improv Everywhere
www.improveverywhere.com

What happens when you take 50 artists and place them in every window of a 5 story department store, then you have them dance and move around in a choreographed show? It would defiantly make for an interesting viewing experience for the people outside watching the events unfold. This is the madness and logic behind Improv Everywhere. As they say: "We cause scenes!" Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 50 missions involving hundreds of undercover agents. Visit their website to watch videos of their missions, buy DVDs of their life hacks and learn more about what it takes to make 100 cell phones ring in a public bag check-in.

30 Second Bunny Theatre Troupe
www.angryalien.com

Home of the 30 Second Bunny Theatre Troupe. The site and concept was created by Jennifer Shiman and has been a cult favorite on the internet. About two years ago Jennifer was contacted by Starz to create new content for Starz on Demand & Starz Ticket. Thanks to the funding by Starz we get to enjoy more 30 Second Bunny re-enactments every few months. On Jennifer's website you can also watch another flash toon called Amy's Diary here: www.angryalien.com/amys_diary.html. The diary actually comes from Jennifer's friend Amy and is Amy's diary from the real diary of a 3rd grader. Having read some of Sarah's diaries from 2nd to 5th grade I find this cartoon very amusing.

Totally Unique Thoughts
www.tut.com

If you feel that your thoughts create your reality then this website is for you. Besides having great materials you can purchase this site also has a large selection of media you can listen to and watch. I highly suggest the Note From The Universe Mailing List found here: www.tut.com/mmm.shtml. The Notes are totally free and you select when and how they arrive in your email box.

I hope you enjoyed this edition of Seven (7) From Nemrel! Remember if you want to suggest a site send me an email.
